Close-knit by nature.
Oundle Hockey Club was founded in 2012 with a simple idea: to create a welcoming place for people to play hockey and become part of a club.
Today, we have one women’s team, one men’s team and a growing junior section. We remain deliberately close-knit — open to players of all abilities, and small enough for people to be known, get involved and make a genuine impact.

Oundle Hockey Club / Responsibilities
Who Does What.
Role Responsibilities
Leads committee meetings and the AGM, tracks actions, oversees governance, risk and finance, and represents the club externally.
Role Responsibilities
Coordinates meetings, agendas and minutes, manages membership administration, affiliations, shared documents and the club's central email accounts.
Role Responsibilities
Builds budgets, manages club transactions, records income and expenditure, protects club funds and prepares financial reporting for members.
Role Responsibilities
Leads safeguarding, DBS and required training, acts as the first contact for welfare concerns and oversees photography permissions.
Role Responsibilities
Plans junior recruitment and courses, coordinates coaches and registrations, manages attendance records and parent communication, and reports to committee.

Plans the club's main social events and additional activities, helping members and parents connect away from the pitch.

Keeps the women's team organised across training, selection, match-day logistics, league administration, player communication and season-end awards.
